Particle on a String
We simulate the motion of particle swinging vertically on a string, under the influence of gravity. We suppose the particle is "swung up" to an initial velocity, and then continues moving without further help. The total force ($F$) is clearly a compination of the gravitational force, $mg$, and the tension in the string, $T$. By default those latter tow are not shown, but the tick box shown on the right will give you the option to see all forces. The graph box shows a trace of the magnitude of velocity and acceleration.
